Kharkiv entrepreneurs received nearly 30 million UAH in compensation for hiring internally displaced persons (IDPs).

The employment assistance program for internally displaced persons (IDPs) is gaining popularity among entrepreneurs in the Kharkiv region.

As reported by "Dumka," this information was provided by the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

According to their data, over 500 employers in the Kharkiv region have utilized compensation for the employment of internally displaced persons and received reimbursements from the regional employment center totaling more than 29 million hryvnias.

Employers who hire IDPs from the labor market are entitled to receive compensation of 8,000 hryvnias for each of the first three months of the employee's work. Thus, the total compensation amount for one person reaches 24,000 hryvnias. If the hired individual is registered with the employment service, the amount of such compensation doubles.
