Residents of Kharkiv performed successfully at the European Muay Thai Championship.

From November 7 to 14, 2024, the European Muay Thai Championship took place in Kosovo, where athletes from Kharkiv secured 2 gold medals and 1 bronze medal in the adult category.

According to "Dumka," this information was reported by the Telegram channel KHARKIV SPORT CITY.

As per their reports, Egor Skurihin became the champion in the weight category up to 81 kg, defeating Nicholas Vastu from Italy in the final.

Dmitry Shelesko won a gold medal in the weight category up to 57 kg, overcoming Narek Khachikyan from Armenia in the final.

Another Kharkiv athlete, Anton Chernikov, secured 3rd place in the weight category up to 75 kg.

In the team standings among adults, the Ukrainian team achieved first place.

The athletes from Kharkiv were prepared for the competitions by their coaches Dmitry Konstantinov and Ruslan Kushnirenko.
