Emergency Services reported the death of an elderly woman in the Kharkiv region: What we know so far.

A woman died as a result of a domestic fire in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to the State Emergency Service, the incident occurred yesterday, December 4, at 8:04 AM in a private house in the village of Taranivka, part of the Zmiiv community in the Chuhuiv district.

One of the rooms in the house was on fire, covering an area of 20 square meters. Two operational units of the State Emergency Service were involved in extinguishing the fire.

The fire was caused by a violation of fire safety regulations during the operation of a solid fuel stove.

An 85-year-old woman lost her life as a result of the blaze.

The fire was extinguished at 10:31 AM.
