The host of the programs "Windows-News," "DNA. Own" on STB, and the nationwide marathon "Unified News," Tatyana Vysotskaya, admitted that her student life was short-lived, as she switched to part-time studies after her first year and began working.
"Part-time students are a unique category: people who can expertly skim through material and convincingly discuss it! There was a time when I was too exhausted to rewrite my notes, but I needed to do it. My boyfriend, who later became my husband, rewrote them for me, and I was incredibly grateful to him. However, deciphering his handwriting was quite a challenge!" — shared Tatyana Vysotskaya.
4Comedian, blogger, and actor from the romantic comedy "Puppies," Povar Danil, recalled a funny story from his student life in the dormitory with his friends.
"After school, I enrolled in a vocational school and lived in a dorm with kids who had just finished 9th grade, so we had supervisors with us. One of the supervisors was nicknamed 'POODLE' because she had a lot of hair that was as voluminous as a 'POODLE' dog. She would always take our electric kettles and hairdryers, and she would come into the room if we weren't in bed by 9:00 PM. She would knock loudly on the doors. One time, a friend quietly visited us for the night, and Poodle heard us chatting with the lights on, rushed into the room, and started hitting our guest with wide swings. It was hilarious, and they almost tried to evict him afterward. I wonder what her reaction would have been if she found out her nickname was Poodle. I think she would have been very angry, but I hope she would have laughed and agreed that she resembled a Poodle because self-irony is great! I studied in Kherson at vocational school number 9 (Dnz HVPURG number 9). The dormitory was on Mira Street," — recounted the humorist.
5The host of the programs "Call Sign Hope" and "The Incredible Truth About Stars" on STB, Nadezhda Matveeva, confessed that she is experiencing this phase of life called student life for the third time.
"I am currently going through my third student life, studying to be a practical psychologist at Grigory Skovoroda University in Pereyaslav. The most interesting part of this process is that I am older than most of my teachers. On one hand, it's somewhat amusing, but on the other — I can be an inspiration for those who want to start a new chapter in their lives at any age, to learn something new, and master an interesting profession. Another interesting point — I combine my studies with teaching others. As a coach, speaker, and ambassador for women's development, I speak at forums, organize workshops, sharing my knowledge and experience. Thus, my student life intertwines with teaching and supporting others on their path to self-development. My example can help those who hesitate about returning to studies. One shouldn't be afraid to become a student to eventually become a specialist in a field they truly enjoy," — shared the TV host.
6Singer Igor Tselip recalls that his student years were, in his opinion, amazing. Although he studied law at a tax university, this did not prevent him from pursuing his passion during his free time. He attended rehearsals almost every day, which brought him great joy.
"On the very first day of my university studies, I asked if they had any creative groups I could join. I was very lucky because there was a powerful folk song and dance ensemble called 'Constellation' at the university. This incredible group of professionals is something I am very grateful for. Thanks to them, I fell even more in love with the stage and the emotions I experienced and still experience there. With the 'Suzir'ya' ensemble of the University of State Fiscal Service (now it seems to be the State Tax University), we toured Kyiv region and beyond, even going abroad. I remember how we drank 'not cola' from a bottle that used to hold cola on our way to another very important concert for us at the Premier Palace in Kyiv, and then at the concert, everyone was in such a good mood that we got a good scolding from our director. Since that moment, I haven't consumed alcohol at all before performances. At the university, I found like-minded people in music and friends with whom I still maintain friendships, even though we live far apart. Therefore, I always remember and will remember my student years with warmth in my heart," — reminisced the singer.
7Singer ANGELA recalled how a café near her educational institution became a real "headquarters" for exam preparation during the exam period.
"During my student years, I often found inspiration from professors who were true professionals and sincerely shared their knowledge. Their lectures captivated me, and I felt that with each new topic, I was discovering a whole world of opportunities. After classes, we had a tradition of going with my classmates to a cozy café near the university. We would choose our favorite spots, order coffee, and discuss what we had learned that day. Before exams, our café turned into a real headquarters for exam preparation. We would reread notes together, help each other understand complex topics, and often joked to keep our spirits high. Those were moments when we not only studied but also created memories that will stay with me forever," — recalled the singer.
8The host of STB projects "Ukraine's Got Talent," "The Bachelor," "The Bachelorette," and "The Incredible Truth About Stars," Grigory Reshetnik, shared that he is still involved in student life, which he is very happy about.
"I fondly remember my student years because I am a certified announcer, a TV program host, and we spent so much time at the university — rehearsing acting skills, techniques, speech, various productions, and hosting skills. We filmed different programs. I remember how we dressed up as various animals. Now it seems like a quadruped, but back then, we simply had the task of shooting a children's program, and different little foxes, bears, and wolves were running around the children's playground. At that time, moms with their kids were horrified by us because such adults were running around, and we would say it was a children's program. It looked strange then, but we were creative. We also put on various sketches, acted them out on the street to step out of our comfort zone. One of the tasks was to stand under the university building and shout to be heard on some 3rd or 4th floor of the auditorium. And it was quite a production. Everyone on the street would turn to look at me. In general, student years were very enjoyable. Like every student, we were always hungry, short on money, always wanting to eat, so we looked for different sandwiches. As they say, hungry but creative students. It was a lot of fun. Unforgettable student years. Now I am a teacher at my university, and in my classes, I encourage students to be brave, believe in themselves, and always remember that if you work hard, everything will definitely work out. I am happy to continue being part of student life as a teacher," — recalled Reshetnik.
