Seven regions of Ukraine are prepared to accept evacuees from Kupiansk.

The situation in the Kupiansk region of Kharkiv Oblast remains challenging, with local authorities striving to evacuate as many people as possible from hazardous areas.

This was reported by the head of the Kupiansk City Military Administration, Andriy Besedin, during a broadcast on the "Pershyi Natsionalnyi" channel, as conveyed by "Dumka".

According to Besedin, the enemy continuously targets the territory of the Kupiansk community with all available weaponry: mortars, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, and guided bombs. The enemy is also deploying a significant number of FPV drones, striking logistics routes and main roads, hindering the delivery of humanitarian aid and restricting the movement of civilians.

Besedin emphasized that in the current situation, the primary objective is to inform people that it is advisable to leave the community at this time. All necessary conditions have been established for this. People just need to agree. Approximately 3,300 local residents remain in the Kupiansk community.

According to the head of the administration, most of the evacuees are being received in Kharkiv, but cities that are sister cities are also ready to take in Kupiansk residents. In particular, Zhytomyr, Chernivtsi, Poltava, Rivne, Chop, and Ivano-Frankivsk are among those prepared to assist. The Lviv City Territorial Community is also ready to provide support.
