Rescuers evacuated an elderly man from the shelling in the Kharkiv region.
This information was reported by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kharkiv region, as conveyed by "Dumka".
According to the State Emergency Service, the pensioner was rescued during an evacuation in the Kupiansk district. The primary reason for this is the continuous shelling from the Russian Federation. The man was evacuated today, January 7, using an armored vehicle from the village of Kivsharivka.
"If an evacuation has been declared in your locality, please do not ignore it, as it can help avoid danger and save lives. Additionally, a 24-hour hotline is operational in the Kharkiv region, and a "Coordination Humanitarian Center" is functioning under a charitable organization. Those wishing to leave can call the hotline at 0-800-33-92-91 at any time," the message states.
