In the United Kingdom, Christmas festivities can commence as early as the end of November — during this period, the Northern Belle train, styled after the 1930s Pullman, will operate from various departure points across the country to Glasgow and Edinburgh (Scotland). Passengers can indulge in a luxurious journey, as reported by Mirror.

While one of the world's most luxurious trains travels at a speed of 70 miles per hour, passengers can relish the opulence and scenic views of the British countryside. A sumptuous seven-course Christmas dinner awaits gourmet enthusiasts, featuring caviar pancakes, exquisite cheeses, champagne, and wine. Onboard entertainment will be provided by local musicians, and a touch of magic will be added by a magician performing tricks as he moves between the carriages. Booking a seat on this exclusive journey will come at a hefty price of 395 pounds sterling.

"We even lay out a red carpet on the train station platform before they board the carriage and receive their first glass of champagne... We like to think that the Northern Belle brings us back to the golden age of rail travel, when nothing was too good for pampered passengers," commented a representative of Northern Belle regarding the introduction of this train.

Northern Belle is a luxury train that offers day and weekend trips across the UK from numerous departure points. It is regarded as one of the best trains in the world — its carriages were once part of the Royal Train.
