Patent images of the BMW iX3 have surfaced online. The premium electric crossover is set to be unveiled in 2025. This is reported by the website Carscoops.
The new second-generation BMW iX3 will undergo significant changes. While the first-generation crossover was an electric version of the BMW X3, its successor will be an independent model.
The BMW iX3 electric crossover looks quite similar to the pre-production concept Vision Neue Klasse X, which was presented in the spring. It features a high hood, flared fenders, and thick rear pillars. The front of the vehicle showcases a new signature style with a grille reminiscent of the classic BMW 2002 coupe.
It is known that the BMW iX3 crossover will be built on the new electric Neue Klasse platform, equipped with powerful processors. Versions with rear-wheel and all-wheel drive will be offered, with power ranging from approximately 300 to 600 horsepower.
The 800-volt architecture will enable rapid charging of the electric vehicle's battery: a range boost of 300 km can be achieved in just 10 minutes. Additionally, the car will feature bidirectional charging capability.
By the way, a new BMW sports wagon with 530 horsepower recently appeared in Ukraine.
