58-year-old Mexican-American actress Salma Hayek made a striking appearance in a stunning red dress. The star shared photos on Instagram.
Hayek publicly supported the lead actresses of the new musical "Wicked: The Witch," Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo.
"Congratulations to Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and the entire Wicked team for the magic you brought to our screens!" — wrote the Mexican-American celebrity.
On the red carpet, Salma dazzled in a captivating red dress with off-the-shoulder details. The "Frida" star wore her hair down, opted for a light makeup look, and nearly forwent accessories to emphasize her main outfit.
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande appeared in a whimsical light dress reminiscent of a wedding gown. The singer and actress accessorized with a necklace and styled her hair in a neat bun.
"Wicked," directed by Jon M. Chu ("Crazy Rich Asians"), debuted in theaters with a record-breaking amount of over $160 million. The film is an adaptation of the musical of the same name, which itself is based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, serving as a prequel to "The Wizard of Oz."
However, only the first part of this enchanting film has been released so far. The second part is expected to follow in about a year.
As a reminder, Salma Hayek showcased a black mini dress.
