Будет ли Зеленский возобновлять диалог с Трампом и как это повлияет на будущее Украины?
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he is open to a new dialogue with U.S. President Donald Trump if invited for a constructive conversation. He made this statement on March 2 while speaking with British journalists.

Regarding Ukraine-U.S. relations, Glavpost reports, referencing the YouTube channel Facts ICTV.

Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that he is willing to discuss important issues if the meeting is genuinely aimed at finding solutions. Despite past disagreements with Trump, he expressed that he sees no point in revisiting those events:

“It’s better to leave it in history.”

At the same time, Zelensky confirmed the strategic importance of the partnership with the U.S. He noted that Ukraine is heavily reliant on Washington's support and is ready for negotiations if they are constructive in nature.

Another significant topic remains the potential agreement between Ukraine and the U.S. on the development of mineral resources. The President of Ukraine assured that the country does not reject this document, and its signing could take place soon.

“There is a final version, and it is ready. Ministers can sign it. We adhere to our policy of consistency,” Zelensky emphasized.

The Trump administration has not yet provided a clear response regarding a possible meeting. They describe the situation as “uncertain” and are awaiting further steps from Volodymyr Zelensky.

Whether dialogue between the two politicians will resume and how it will affect Ukraine's future remains an open question. However, one thing is clear: for Kyiv, strategic cooperation with Washington remains a priority.
