Trump's forecasts are reported by Glavpost, referencing fbc.net.ua.
According to Trump, the scale of destruction in Ukrainian cities is astonishing.
“Some buildings that stood for almost a millennium have been reduced to ruins. Many cities have literally been wiped off the map — not a single house remains, just piles of stones,” he stated, emphasizing that such horror could have been avoided.
The Republican added that recovery will not only require incredible resources but will also fail to restore the former appearance of the destroyed areas.
“You can rebuild cities, but they will never be the same as they were. This is a tragedy that should never have happened,” Trump noted.
When asked about possible concessions to Ukraine to end the conflict, Trump avoided a direct answer, returning once again to the topic of destruction. He stressed that the situation is catastrophic:
“In some cities, there is nowhere to return — only emptiness, rubble, and silence. These places have become symbols of human tragedy.”
Let us remind you, “Ukraine will be able to survive without U.S. assistance,” the Ministry of Finance indicated the limits of possibilities.
