For instance, the supply of rifles from Italy to Armenia increased thirtyfold over four years, and Kyrgyzstan received over 4,400 units of weapons in 2023, despite having no such supplies in 2020-2021.
Particular attention is drawn to the Luxembourg holding company Beretta, which remains the majority owner of the company in Russia despite the sanctions. In June 2024, the U.S. Treasury Department added the Russian importer of Beretta to the sanctions list. Nevertheless, products from this company continue to arrive in the Russian Federation, as evidenced by protocols from sniper competitions at the training ground in annexed Crimea.
Among other European companies collaborating with Russia, Hans Wrage & Co from Germany is mentioned. This firm imports products into Russia, including Japanese carbines, German shotguns, and military ammunition.
