Born on December 23, 1977, in Lviv, he began his service in 1999 at the newspaper "Wings of Ukraine" and rose to become the head of the press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he worked from 2018 to 2024.
After his dismissal in March 2024, Ignat took on the role of acting head of the communication department of the Air Force in the fall of the same year, which was established as part of the reforms. On December 24, he was officially appointed to the position of head of the department.
“In the summer of 2024, the communication department was created. Since autumn, I have been performing the duties of the head, and now I have officially started my new position,” Ignat noted in a comment.
This new role emphasizes his contribution to the development of military communications. A recipient of the Daniel of Galicia Order (2022), Ignat continues to play a key role in the information policy of the Air Forces of Ukraine.
